17777 Main Street, Suite G, Irvine, CA 92614

Francisco de Los Cobos leads a workshop at Ikazuchi Dojo from 2-5pm. $35. The workshop will focus on functional techniques based on Francisco’s extensive experience developing and pressure testing his aikido with martial artists from other disciples. This session will include controlled live training components (not kata based). Open to all levels.  Please RSVP here.

Francisco started training Tae Kwon Do in 1986 at age 5 until the year 2000 when he discovered Aikido and enrolled in an Uchi Deshi program in Mexico City. He moved to Texas in 2007 and along with the study of Aikido he started training in boxing and Muay Thai, competing at an amateur level. At this stage he tested the functionality of his Aikido within the context of modern combat sports, looking always to improve his technique and incorporating the concepts and techniques leaned in other arts to his base art of Aikido. Francisco has also trained extensively in knife combat, and has experience in Shinto Muso Ryu Jojutsu, Iaido, and BJJ, and is an avid student of conflict management and resolution.
