Video FAQ

What is Ikazuchi.TV?

A streaming video membership that tells the story of Ikazuchi Dojo. With new content each month and livestream Q&A you can join us on our path of discovery and growth. We have content in five areas: action, instruction, discussion, testing, and livestream.

Who is this for?

Any martial artists that have an interest in seeing how a rapidly evolving dojo approaches the challenges of instruction, community building, research and development, business strategy, and preserving the legacy of the art and its founder.

Even if you practice a different style of martial arts, you can get visibility into our strategy and approach to use as a reference model. Or just enjoy the story of our students’ and instructors’  journey.

What does membership cost?

$15 per month. There’s a 7 day free trial and you can cancel anytime.

Where’s the Livestream content?

Coming soon. We are in the process of setting up the infrastructure to properly support the livestream service. It will be rolled out soon and the first few likely won’t be perfect.

Can I learn aikido from watching the videos?

If you are an actively practicing martial artist, you’ll be able to pick up knowledge that you can apply under the supervision of a qualified instructor. However, in isolation, this content should not be used as a self-teaching tool. Learning this way is inefficient and potentially dangerous.

How often is new content released?

We will start by releasing new content every two weeks. You’ll get an email notification when new content is available and there will be an accompanying article / blog post for a number of the videos.

Can I watch on my mobile device?

Yes, Ikazuchi.TV is mobile responsive and works great on phones and tablets.
